Aleishe Baska ‘05 is a lecturing instructor in the School of Baking and Pastry at the Hyde Park campus of the Culinary Institute of America. She has been a faculty member since 2018 and teaches a wide variety of classes. Before joining the faculty at the CIA, she was a pastry instructor at the International Culinary Center in New York City (formerly the French Culinary Institute). Prior to her career in education, she worked in the pastry departments of several NYC restaurants ranging from upscale casual to Michelin-starred. Aleishe has bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology from Macalester College in addition to her CIA degree.
