Sous Chef, Bear, Auberge Stanly Ranch Resort; Napa, CA

Christian Godbold is sous chef at Bear restaurant located at Stanly Ranch in Napa Valley, which is part of the Auberge resorts collection. Before that Chef Godbold worked at some of the Bay Area’s most acclaimed restaurants including James Beard Award finalist, Horn BBQ in Oakland, The French Laundry in Yountville, and at McCormick & Kuleto’s Seafood & Steaks in San Francisco. He has broad food and beverage experience working in fine dining, hotels, food companies, and as a recipe developer. In his spare time, he helps his family operate their large garden and greenhouse where they grow a wide range of vegetables and flowers throughout the year. He also enjoys fishing and crabbing in and around Napa and Sonoma counties.
