Chef and Founder, Stateline Road BBQ | Napa, CA

Darryl Bell is the chef and founder of Stateline Road BBQ, a line of artisanal Kansas City-inspired BBQ and spice mixtures, and chef and owner of the soon-to-open Stateline Road Smokehouse, located in Napa Valley. Chef Bell grew up in Kansas City and then traveled west to work for seven years for the Thomas Keller group, before being promoted to executive sous chef at Bouchon in Yountville. Continuing to develop his fine dining skills at acclaimed Napa Valley institutions, he most recently served as chef de cuisine under Philip Tessier at Press Restaurant in St. Helena. At Stateline Road Smokehouse, he will take his Michelin training and combine it with his Kansas City upbringing and culinary traditions to create a dining experience that is “Chef Created, Kansas City True.”
