Gregory Marchand is chef-owner of Frenchie. Greg,known as “Frenchie” thanks to the nickname bestowed by Jamie Oliver, began his culinary journey in western France at the age of 15. He decided to travel after cooking school and worked all around the world in Marbella, London, New York, and Hong Kong before moving home to Paris with his wife Marie in 2008. Greg launched Frenchie on the rue du Nil on April 1st, 2009. The Marchand family now leads Frenchie Restaurant, Frenchie Bar à Vins, FTG (before called Frenchie To Go), Frenchie Caviste, all on the rue du Nil, Frenchie Covent Garden in London, and Frenchie Pigalle in Paris.
