Senior Director, School of Graduate Studies, The Culinary Institute of America | Hyde Park, NY
Jen E. Clarke is the senior director of the Culinary Institute of America’s School of Graduate Studies. In this role, Jen leads its administration and support operations which include finance and budgeting, accreditation, legal and policy compliance, human resources, oversight of curriculum design, development and course delivery, operations management, and student experience. She also plays a key role in overall strategic planning, as well as partnership and business development for the programs of the School of Graduate Studies. A distinguished leader in the nonprofit and higher education sectors, Jen has over twenty-five years of experience in organizational leadership, partnership cultivation, and market responsive programming. Jen has held various leadership roles in higher education advancement, including director of corporate and foundation relations at The Cooper Union and Clarkson University, both in New York State. Most recently, she was the executive director of One To World, a New York City-based nonprofit which fosters intercultural understanding by connecting local communities with international students and Fulbright scholars, while working in close partnership with over forty colleges and universities. Jen has presented at the World Bank, United Nations, Concordia Summit, and the Nissan Foundation Symposium, among others. She has served in officer roles on numerous intercultural education and food security nonprofit boards in Canada and the U.S. including her current appointment on the Board of Directors of One To World. Jen holds a bachelor's degree in journalism with a double major in political science, and an MA both from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
