Martin Rivera is executive chef at AVOW Napa. At AVOW, the vision was to build a community-driven restaurant. One where the culture was something to celebrate for our guests as well as the staff. A place to come and have a night out with friends or an intimate experience for any special occasion. It was important to Martin to create a menu that adhered to all types of diners—one that can bring everyone to the table to celebrate California’s offerings. Growing up in San Diego, Martin was strongly influenced by Latin American cuisine. He applies that, along with the knowledge he has gained working under Michelin starred chefs and mentors throughout Napa Valley to San Francisco since 2010. (Napa, CA)
