Masaya Kitayama is Executive Chef of Sushi Taro. Sushi Taro is the oldest authentic Japanese restaurant in Washington, DC, with one Michelin star four years in a row, and a spot on the Opinionated About Dining (OAD) Top 100. After graduating Tsuji Culinary Institute in Japan, Masaya trained at a prominent kaiseki restaurant in Osaka and started work at Sushi Taro in 2003. After a promotion, he became executive chef.
