Culinary Demonstrator, The Culinary Institute of America; Hyde Park, NY

Patience Kamen is a culinary demonstrator at the Culinary Institute of America teaching baking and pastry classes to food enthusiasts at the Hyde Park, NY campus. After having trained at the Tante Marie School of Culinary Arts in Surry England, Patience came to the United States where she worked at such prestigious locations as Tavern on the Green, Le Cirque, The Plaza Hotel, Vong, The Park Restaurant, and The Castle Hotel and Spa. Chef Kamen is a native of West Africa, born in Ghana and raised in Liberia.
